PROGRAMS

JOE has been designed to be delivered in 4 phases to incorporate both soft skills and technical skills. In JOE, we believe that entrepreneurship is not just about financial literacy. If it was that simple, then why do 99% of business ventures fail? There’s so much more to that! Which is why JOE includes soft skills such as creativity, problem solving and innovative thinking.

JOE’s 4 phases of Entrepreneurship

The 4-phase program of JOE provides a holistic interpretation of entrepreneurship and prepares children in all aspects of managing a business.

Phase I – Soft Skills (Mindset development)

In order to build a strong foundation for the program, Phase I is primarily designed to be soft-skill oriented. It aims to effectively condition the students’ mindset to foster the right attitude for successfully embarking on their entrepreneurship journey.

Phase II – Soft Skills (Communication & Behavioral skills)

Successful entrepreneurs have strong interpersonal and social skills which allow them to work well and effectively communicate with their stakeholders. Going through Phase II, students will get to build their confidence and self-esteem by developing these skills, and at the same time, get them out of their comfort zones.

Phase III – Technical Skills (Financial literacy & Business Skills)

This part of the program will introduce financial concepts that are appropriate for younglearners. The students will understand the value of money, difference between needs and wants, relationships between earning, spending and savings, income and expenses, budgeting and money management.

Phase IV – Final Project (Mini-Market Fair)

Phase IV of the program serves to encapsulate the learning points acquired during the program & translate them into real-life application. In teams, the students will embark on the final project, which entails brainstorming ideas & shortlisting a business opportunity.

At the end of the course, teams will participate in a Mini-Market Fair where they will sell their products/services to the general public.
